Stainless steel bar is useful
for all sorts of jobs. Bolger specifies it for many of the
hardware applications on his designs. It can be bent, cut
with a hacksaw and drilled but beware, this stuff is tough
and not as easy to machine as brass, but it will bend more
often without breaking.
Ask about other sizes.
